Environmental Policy

MDG has become Canada's best selling PC by continuously meeting and exceeding the expectations of our customers and employees. This extends to our commitment to protect and improve the environment by enhancing the quality of our product offerings, retail operations and employee health and safety. The same focus applies to business efficiencies and customer satisfaction. With MDG's environmental preservation program, MDG intends to conserve product energy consumption, reduce or eliminate materials for disposal and prolong product life span.

With the introduction of MDG's marquee Apton desktop series in January of 2006, MDG made a leap in the computing industry, by offering a PC with a guaranteed life expectancy of 8 years - twice the longevity of the industry standard PC. By prolonging the life of our computers, MDG hopes to reduce the amount of products that are recycled annually.

MDG continuously strives to streamline business processes and increase efficiencies, while minimizing the stress on the environment and providing cost savings that are passed along to customers

  • To provide employees with a better understanding of environmental issues and the company's commitment, policies, and programs to preserve and improve the environment
  • To openly make this policy available to all employees and the public.
