We have an immediate need for a “Technical Support Representative (Tier I & Tier II)” at our Inbound Call Centre. This position is based in our Head Office in Oakville – near the Mississauga border (public transportation is available). The Technical Support Representative assists inbound callers with their computer hardware and software related inquires.

Responsibilities:

• Responds to technical inquiries, product related problems over the telephone.
• Acts as single point of contact between the company and MDG clients for all technical troubles relating to purchased computer products.
• Trouble shoots, recognizes triggers and traps, and resolves all problems and/or conflicts using technical expertise and customer service orientation.
• Follows the standard Help Desk operating procedures (talk time, availability, quality).
• Accurately logs all Help Desk Contacts using call and service tracking software.
• Initiates, monitors, and adheres to escalation procedures as defined by MDG and our clients.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of related experience or a Technical Post Secondary diploma coupled with strong customer service experience.
• Above average communication, telephone, and customer service skills.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems.
• Flexibility to work shifts on a 24/7 schedule.
• Bilingual candidates strongly preferred.
